Noe Street in Duboce Triangle possesses a magic that few streets in San Francisco offer. It is walkable, green, and accessible by active modes to all parts of the city!
When the Slow Streets initiative began out of the pandemic to create low-stress facilities for people walking and rolling, Noe St. was selected by SFMTA as a candidate based on many criteria, including having no conflicts with MUNI, being fairly flat, and having mostly stop signs. In 2022, Noe St. became a permanent Slow Street, thanks to the efforts of our local engagement and SFMTA.
